Initiatives
- UMSN Office of Global Affairs received the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s 2025 Innovations in Professional Nursing Education Award for our programmatic innovation “All for Health, Health for All” that broadens nursing students’ understanding and experience of healthcare worldwide.
- Dr. Michelle Munro-Kramer served as an invited member of the Guidelines Development Group at the World Health Organization meeting in Geneva.
- The Office of Global Affairs is co-hosting the 2026 Global Collaborative Series Global Nurse Force: Bridging Health and Climate Action with Yale School of Nursing and Vanderbilt School of Nursing. Each month a speaker gives a free, virtual presentation, open to everyone, about nurses’ involvement in climate action. Please register to participate.

The Office of Global Affairs leads the U-M School of Nursing’s international engagement, connecting students, faculty, and partners to opportunities that advance health for all around the world. Through education, research, practice, and collaboration, the office prepares nurses to lead in diverse, global contexts.
