Nurse leaders must be flexible and adaptable in responding to the current challenges in healthcare and in designing new, innovative care delivery models for the future. An ability to understand and fully utilize the concepts of creativity, applied creativity, innovation, individual-level transition, change, and change management are necessary skills for every nurse leader. This course prepares nurse leaders to attain these competencies by studying and applying the theoretical frameworks, and developing the means and methods necessary to create strategic, sustainable change.
