The Acute Care Nursing program is purposefully flexible, designed to allow students a large degree of freedom in choosing electives and tailoring the program to their specific professional objectives.
All Master's degree-granting programs in the School of Nursing require students
to take a set of core courses comprising of 12 semester hours. In addition,
students in the Acute Care program are expected to complete a minimum
of 28 credit hours of specialty courses. Students must also complete two cognate
courses (a minimum of 7 credit hours). The minimum number of credits for successful
completion of the program is 47.
