Transferring to Michigan
The University of Michigan School of Nursing admits transfer students into the sophomore level of the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Nursing transfer students are able to build off of previously completed coursework, earn direct entry into the School of Nursing, and immediately begin the BSN curriculum.
Sophomore-level transfer students must complete at least 30 transferable credits, including the specific courses listed on the Checklist
for Undergraduate Transfer Students, prior to transferring to the School of Nursing.
The University of Michigan School of Nursing has unique articulation agreements
with two area community colleges to encourage and facilitate transfer.

Program Information Sessions
Are you interested in transferring to the University of Michigan School of Nursing to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing? Would you like to learn more about your options and how to prepare for transfer to the University of Michigan School of Nursing?
The School of Nursing regularly hosts Transfer Information Sessions to provide an opportunity for prospective transfer students to speak with a School of Nursing admission representative and learn more about the application process.
During the Information Session, an admission representative will review details of the BSN curriculum, present application and admission requirements for the Fall 2009 application cycle, and provide an overview of the application review process. A significant amount of time will be reserved to address individual questions and concerns.
