Ph.D. Program
Leaders make a difference
The Ph.D. program at the University of Michigan is widely recognized as one of the best in the world. The program will prepare you to contribute to the empirical and theoretical base of nursing practice through research. In one of our four Ph.D. Concentrations-Health Promotion/Risk Reduction, Bio-Behavior, Nursing Systems, and Women's Health-you will have the unique opportunity to study the inter-relationships of physiological, psychological, and socio-cultural variables, as they influence health outcomes.
Upon completion of your studies you will be ready to assume leadership roles in education, professional nursing organizations, health service systems, and other health-related enterprises.
