Sources of Aid
The Hillman Scholars Program in Nursing Innovation is designed to produce the next generation of nurse researchers who will lead the realignment of health care to become more effective, patient-centered, accessible, equitable, and affordable.
The Honors Program is designed to both challenge and support UMSN undergraduate students who have shown potential for excellence in research, leadership, and service. Benefits include financial support, opportunities to work on faculty on research projects, and interaction with health science leaders in a variety of professions at conferences, meetings, and more.
The Jonas Scholars Programs through the Jonas Center for Nursing Excellence Center were created to advance the nursing profession. The center is the leading philanthropic funder for nursing and provides financial support, leadership development, and mentoring for doctoral students at partner institutions such as UMSN.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation through the University of Michigan School of Nursing helps to create a diverse cadre of PhD prepared nurses.
