Employment Opportunities

Three types of Graduate Student Teaching and Research Assistantships are available:

  • teaching assistant

  • research assistant

  • staff assistant

Graduate assistantships provide the student with a salary, tuition grant, and benefits. Tuition grants and health benefits accompany appointments of at least 25 percent. The Rackham Graduate Student Assistant Program Office provides advice and information on the policies and procedures of assistantships (763-5430).
