the last semester of your BSN program. Please note that some graduate programs admit only every other year and others require various types and lengths of work experience. All are competitive.
RN-MS students who find themselves unable to complete the graduate program will be able to return to the normal BSN completion track to complete their BSN.
Applicants applying from outside the United States are encouraged to apply as early as possible and at least one month or more prior to published deadlines.

Applying
1. Gather your supporting documentation
It's important to get your supporting documentation going. This includes:

- Current licensure to practice as an RN (submit a copy of your nursing license)
- Your goal statement. This is a two-page essay that delineates your rationale for pursuing your specific graduate program. These essays are most effective when they specify:

- the applicant's professional goals for the future
- how the selected course of study will lead to the achievement of professional goals.
- Official transcripts
- Financial support statement (International applicants only)
- Resume of education and professional experience
Submit all of your documents to the School of Nursing. Do not submit to Rackham Graduate School.
