Other Employment

  • Students interested in part time employment (not necessarily in a health care setting) should check the general information bulletin board of the School of Nursing. Often positions such as baby-sitting, house-work, and companions for the elderly are listed.
  • Part-time positions are also available in the cafeterias, libraries, and offices of many University Residence halls.

Employment for Students in the RN Studies Program

The Office of Student Affairs can provide general information about employment opportunities in the Ann Arbor area. Information about specific openings will be posted on the RN Studies bulletin board on the first floor of the School of Nursing.

Work Study

The Student Employment Office administers General College Work-Study (federally funded) and Michigan Work-Study (state funded) programs to provide part-time jobs for eligible students.

To qualify students must apply for financial aid through the Office of Financial Aid, and be US citizens or permanent residents, enrolled full-time, and able to demonstrate financial need.
