If you are an RN with an associate's degree or diploma and want to deepen your education and multiply your career options, our RN-MS Program will prepare you for positions in management, patient education, and home and community care-giving. When you graduate with a master's from the University of Michigan, you will be ready to be a nursing leader and to respond to tomorrow's health care needs and opportunities.

The RN to MS program is an innovative program that combines undergraduate and graduate studies. It is available in Ann Arbor only, and may be completed in three to four part-time years, depending on your master's specialty.

In the RN to MS Program from the University of Michigan, you can specialize in the area of nursing that interests you most. Whether you study to become a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Midwife, or Nursing Business executive-we offer 21 programs-a master's degree from the University of Michigan will elevate your decision-making authority and raise your marketability.
