School of Nursing Transfer Guides
The University of Michigan School Of Nursing may transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities to meet certain program prerequisites. If you have taken courses and are interested in transferring the credits to the School of Nursing, please read the following information thoroughly.
The School of Nursing Office of Academic Affairs has created an individual Transfer Guide (below) for numerous colleges and universities in and beyond Michigan. Each Transfer Guide lists courses that have been approved to transfer to the School of Nursing and satisfy program prerequisites.
If the college or university you have attended is not listed below, or if you do not see a course listed on a specific institution's course equivalent guide that you believe may transfer to meet a prerequisite, you will need to submit a Course Description Review Request. To complete a Review Request, follow these steps:
1. Obtain an official course description and syllabus for each course you would like the School of Nursing to review. An official description will come from a course guide, web-listing, or the department that offers the course.
2. Print and complete the Course Description Review Request Form.
3. Submit the Course Description Review Request Form, the course description, and the course syllabus to the School of Nursing via mail or fax.
