The first step in planning your visit it to make an appointment with U-M's Visitors Center. You'll sign up for information sessions and tours. There's also maps and directions and information on accommodations in the Ann Arbor area.
If you would like to visit the School of Nursing, we strongly suggest registering for a tour through the UM's Visitor Center. Appointments to meet with an admissions representative at the School of Nursing are arranged on a space-available basis. Please contact sn-osams@umich.edu for details.
Prospective BSN Transfer Information Sessions
To learn more about transferring to the University of Michigan School of Nursing, Information Sessions are held specifically for prospective BSN transfer students. If you are enrolled at a community college, in a different school or college at UM, or if you attend another four-year institution, we strongly encourage you to attend an information session. An advisor will present information about the BSN program, prerequisite coursework, and the application process.

Unable to make scheduled session?
If you would like to visit the School of Nursing, we strongly suggest planning your trip to align with a scheduled BSN Transfer Information Session. Individual appointments are arranged on a space-available basis and opportunities to speak with a current Nursing student or tour the Nursing Simulation Lab are limited.
Prospective Accelerated Second Career in Nursing Information Sessions
The School of Nursing regularly hosts Accelerated Second Career in Nursing Information Sessions to provide an opportunity for prospective students to speak with a School of Nursing admission representative and learn more about the application process. During the Information Session, an admission representative will review details of the Accelerated Second Career BSN curriculum, present application and admission requirements for the Fall 2009 application cycle, and provide an overview of the application review process. A significant amount of time will be reserved to address individual questions and concerns.
