program in Nursing Business and Health Systems is
designed to prepare nurse leaders to address the
pressing issues and challenges in today’s
complex healthcare systems and in the future.
The curriculum
integrates knowledge from the disciplines of nursing
and business and provides students with opportunities
to develop and apply innovative leadership concepts

Opportunities
Graduates from this program assume a wide variety
of leadership and management positions, including
nurse executive, nurse manager, CEO, case management,
project directors, change managers, consultants,
quality specialists, information specialist, healthcare
consultants and independent entrepreneurs.
Recent graduates are employed in acute care hospitals,
managed care companies, acute care organizations,
home health care agencies, integrated delivery systems,
consulting firms and in their own businesses.
Program of Study
The web-based curriculum allows students to work
at their own pace and in their own environments.
Interaction with the faculty and other students
will occur on-line and during monthly campus visits.
The curriculum design easily accommodates the part-time
working student as well as students located in diverse
locations.
