Elizabeth Kuzma has experience working as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has particular experience working with underserved communities in Detroit and Ann Arbor. She also works in a clinic located within a local domestic violence shelter working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families. Her area of focus for her clinical scholarship is working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the area of healthy nutrition to work toward a positive, healthy future.

- AANP Foundation Childhood Obesity Grant: Healthy Nutrition, Healthy Families: Working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families to work toward a healthy future.
Teaching
Elizabeth Kuzma has experience working as a clinical instructor at the graduate level. She has participated as clinical faculty for Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner courses within the School of Nursing, including N503, N566, and N666. She also works as a clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students during various courses throughout their program at the School of Nursing. She also lectures for N566 and N666 courses, in the topics of HEENT (head, ears, eyes, nose, throat), anemia, and thyroid disorders.
