Research Interests
I am a biostatistician with interests in chronic disease modeling. My methodological interests are focused on improving methods for estimating transitions between states in a Markov model using secondary data analysis when data are unavailable in the form specified by the theoretical model. My area of primary clinical interest over the past ten years has been diabetes and progression of its complications.

Current Research
Chronic Disease Modeling for Clinical Research Innovations (D. Isaman, Principal Investigator, funded by NIDDK for 2006-2008)
