Research Interests

  • Mechanistic insights about why certain women fail to respond to behavioral treatment of urinary incontinence.
  • Differential recovery of the pelvic floor after childbirth.
  • The effects of dietary intake, type and amount of beverages, in relation to lower urinary tract symptoms.
  • Race, posture and load related stressors as they affect the pelvic floor.
