My research is focused on the effects of
stress and aging on the human menstrual
cycle. We are currently studying the
regulation of pulsatile gonadotropin
secretion in normal women and how this
may differ in women with premenstrual
syndrome, women who are obese, over 40,
and those who initiate hormone
replacement therapy for menopause
symptoms. These studies also assess
psychosocial factors and therapeutic outcomes.
