Extensive experience in public health practice, administration and education.
Former Manager/Health Officer for the Oakland County Health Division.
Responsible for leadership and policy direction for public health programs in large local health department including nursing, communicable disease, environmental health, nutrition, substance abuse, health education and correctional health care.
Experience in public health disaster preparedness/response and leading public health teams in the identification and control of infectious disease outbreaks.
Current Research and Training Interests
Reducing transmission of influenza by face masks and hand hygiene in
the community.
