CTools
CTools (like its predecessor, CourseTools) is a course management system
designed to be a "container" for course materials and a collection
of tools, like threaded discussion and live chat tools, that help facilitate
online and face-to-face courses.
A key to using CTools successfully is to remember that using CTools
is a skill students must develop. By using CTools consistently
among courses, we reduce the amount of time students need to spend re-learning
how to find documents, submit assignments, etc., and instead spend that
energy on mastering course material, writing papers, and doing projects.
