Alumni News and Updates
School of Nursing Alumni Society Scholarships
The School of Nursing Alumni Society is proud to administer several Alumni
Society scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students. The Alumni
Board understands that scholarships are a very important source of support
for students today, and financial support can make the difference in whether
or not a student can realize her or his dream of becoming a nurse.
Students are notified of the deadlines for scholarships, and applications
are reviewed and selections are made by the Awards – Scholarship Committee
of the Board of Governors. Typically, five or more undergraduate scholarships
(deadline
March 21, 2008) and three or more graduate scholarships
(deadline
March 21, 2008) are presented each year. Follow the above
links for further information and application materials, apply now.
There are other scholarships available for nursing students. For more information,
please contact the Office of Student Affairs or look at
the Financial Aid and Scholarship links displayed within each of the individual programs
on the School of Nursing website in the Admissions &
Financial Aid section.
Please contact the Alumni – Welcome Center and Development Office
(nursingalum@umich.edu) for:
-
Information about Alumni Society scholarships including deadlines
and an application form; or,
-

to provide support for students.
