UM Alumna Named Nursing Division Director at OHSU
OREGON HEALTH & SCIENCE UNIVERSITY APPOINTS NURSING DIVISION DIRECTOR
Oregon Health & Science University has appointed Ann Maylie, Ph.D.,
R.N., director of the medical/cardiovascular nursing division within
OHSU Hospitals and Clinics. She was also named an instructor in the OHSU
School of Nursing.
A member of the American Association of Healthcare Quality, the Oregon
Association of Healthcare Quality and Sigma Theta Tau International,
Maylie holds a doctorate in nursing from Oregon Health & Science
University and a master of science degree in medical-surgical nursing
from the University of Michigan School of Nursing.
Previously provider relations manager in OHSU's quality management
department, Maylie was an assistant director of nursing for nine years
before formally moving into the area of quality management.
OHSU is Oregon's only health and research university. It includes the
Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Science and Engineering;
OHSU Hospital and Doernbecher Children's Hospital; numerous primary care
and specialty clinics; multiple research institutes and centers; and
several community service and outreach programs.
