Counselors & Advisors
Basic Resources for Counselors & Advisors
The U-M School of Nursing understands that high school and community college counselors and advisors are important resources for students as they engage in the college admissions process. You need accurate information as you assist students with their educational choices and we're committed to providing it for you. For example, some great beginning resources include:
- Application Tailgate Workshops - An opportunity for prospective freshmen and their parents to learn more about the University of Michigan while experiencing a Michigan Football Saturday.
- Undergraduate Campus Tours - Encourage students to sign-up for an Office of Undergraduate Admission campus tour or take one yourself.
- School of Nursing Sophomore Transfer Information Sessions - Community college counselors may assist potential transfer students by encouraging their attendance at our Sophomore Transfer Information Sessions.
- What we're looking for - Description of some of the criteria School of Nursing application reviewers use to determine admissions offers
If you require additional information, we welcome your questions about our programs and the opportunity to assist you with providing information to your students. Please contact us at sn-osams@umich.edu.
