The Nursing Methods Module has three parts: a pre-test, a review section, and a post-test. They will let you test your skills, refresh your memory, and prepare for class. Take the pre-test first; if you get a low score, you might want to look at the review section before you take the post-test.
You must score 90% on the post-test before your course starts. You will be able to verify your answers as you go along (see below) but you'll lose partial points if you check your answers. You can re-take the tests as often as you'd like.

What password do I need to take the exam?
Your Kerberos password (think email) is required in order to take this tutorial.
What web browser should I use when taking this tutorial?
We recommend Internet Explorer 6.0, available at www.windowsupdate.com .
How do I go to the next page?
You will notice that towards the bottom of the page, you will see a left arrow, "Index", and a right arrow (see above) . You go to the next page by clicking the right arrow, and you go back to a previous page by using the left arrow. The index button will take you to a listing of every page, which provides you an easier way to navigate the tutorial, especially if you want to go back a few pages.
Checking your answers
Underneath each question is a button called "Check Answer". After you make a selection or enter an answer, you can click this button to verify it. If your answer is wrong, you can select a different answer and verify it using the same means as before.
NOTE: a partial point is deducted for each answer you check. So, if you select the right answer on the first try, you'll get full credit, but if you select the right answer on the third try, you'll only earn 0.25 points.
How do I start a test over?
This option is at the bottom of the screen.
I can't view a picture for a particular question, what do I do?
Contact your professor or SN-ITS immediately for help. SN-ITS contact info is displayed at the bottom.
I can't log in to the tutorial!
Once again, contact your professor or the SN-ITS team for help immediately.
I can't view the review page.
First and foremost, we recommend that you at least have Internet Explorer 6.0 before taking this exam. If you do have the requested browser and you're still unable to view the review page, contact your professor or SN-ITS team.
I'm done viewing the review, how do I go back to the exam?
The review opens up in a separate window, so in order to go back to the exam, you can select it from the taskbar. In the example above, the exam is the first button on the taskbar (the exam window will always be behind the tutorial window).
Can I go back and change my answers on the post-test?
Yes you can. However once you submit the quiz, you can not change any more of your answers. The post-test is taken as a traditional exam. You can not check your answers during the post-test.
Something came up and I have to leave but I'm not finished, what can I do?
You can simply click the “Logout” button at the bottom of the screen. It will save your current progress and you may return to it later on. It is also a good idea to contact your professor and let them know that you did not finish the tutorial.
