International Institute, University of Michigan
The International Institute
is responsible for coordination of research
and training in international, comparative, and area studies across
various schools and colleges of the University. It houses numerous
programs and centers within it, including
the Center for Afro-American and African studies,
the Center for Chinese Studies,
the Center for Japanese
Studies,
the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies,
the Center for Russian and East European Studies,
the Center for South Asian Studies,
the Center for Southeast Asian Studies,
the Korean Studies Program,
the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program, and
the Center for European Studies.
