Dear Student: 

We look forward to seeing you at our Welcome to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year here at the School of Nursing. It is the perfect time before classes begin in September to be introduced to our Nursing community.

Enjoy breakfast and be welcomed as our day begins in the Nursing auditorium, learn more about the people, like you, who make up the School of Nursing, then have lunch at our delicious barbeque on the front lawn.  Cool off with ice cream from our sundae bar before joining your afternoon orientation or information session.  Oh, and let’s not forget the fun prizes that will be given out during the Welcome!

Mark your calendar now and plan to attend*. We can’t wait to see you here!

*Please note that attendance of the Welcome morning AND afternoon programs is required for undergraduate students; graduate students are invited to the morning program, but are only required to attend their afternoon orientation sessions. 

For those students whose scheduled move-in day is August 28, you will be permitted to move in August 27 or August 29 to allow you to attend the All School Welcome at the School of Nursing. Please contact UM Housing to confirm your arrangements at housing@umich.edu or (734)763-3164.
