Graduates of the University of Michigan
School of Nursing Spring/Summer semesters
are invited to a celebratory reception
on Friday, August 14, 2009
at Palmer Commons, 5:30-7:30pm.
Registration required by August 4
No tickets are needed for admittance and graduates may invite as many guests as they wish.
Check the degree list to make sure you have registered to graduate in Summer, 2009. If your name is not on the list, go to Wolverine Access and apply for graduation.
We hope that you and your guests will enjoy the opportunity to celebrate this achievement by our graduates with the School of Nursing.
The reception is being held on Friday, August 14, 2009 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Room, 4th Floor of Palmer Commons, 100 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Directions to Palmer Commons can be found at:

Area parking includes the Palmer Commons parking structure, a U-M faculty-staff parking facility with 180 visitor parking spaces. It is adjacent to Palmer Commons at the intersection of Washtenaw Avenue and Palmer Drive. Other parking venues are also available in the surrounding area and are within walking distance of Palmer Commons. During the reception, attending graduates will be called forward by programs to be congratulated. Students completing their BSN degree will also receive a Nursing pin to commemorate their achievement. Name cards will be placed in your student mailbox located in the reading room. Please bring it with you to the reception. This card will be used by the announcer.
The reception is not formal in nature and academic attire is not required. Light refreshments will be provided and limited seating will be available.
