1001 Different Activities. Student Life at UM is so varied, and the opportunities to participate so plentiful, it can be downright breathtaking. There are more than 700 different extracurricular clubs and organizations, varsity and club sports, and many different options to be a student leader. Life outside of the classroom is vibrant and exciting and allows every student to take an active role in the life of the school. Arts at Michigan is the gateway to arts and cultural opportunities at the University of Michigan for undergraduate students. Ann Arbor provides numerous theaters, museums, concerts, performances, lectures, symposia, and community service opportunities to keep students very busy night and day.
