SN-ITS
We currently have two excellent databases that are for multiple users across
several units in the School. They continue to be refined and expanded and
reports are conceived and generated.
Here is an overview and status report on the Central Clinical Placement
Database (CCPD) that was presented at the Division 2 Faculty Meeting 3-17-04.
The Student Information Database (SID) interacts with CCPD, thus reducing
data entry effort for staff. A new venture with SID will further reduce data
entry effort when it is articulated with M-Pathways and automatically pulls
information to populate
many
fields.
If you are thinking about creating a database, please check with SN-ITS
team member (
sn-its@umich.edu) to see if a segment of needed
information already exists in one of our databases or in M-Pathways. You
may not need to reinvent the wheel!
