- Can you explain what the X.500 directory is and what
is does?
- Answer: Sure, the X.500 directory is a listing of every person or
group affiliated with the University. It contains mostly importantly
everyone's email address. In addition it contains other personal
information such as telephone numbers, addresses, and web page listings.
The X.500 directory has just been made much more accessable to the
University as it is now available on the web. You can access it here. For more information on

- How do I find a person or group using X.500?
- Answer: First click here
to get to the directory. Then enter either a name or a uniquname to
search for. Additional information about finding entries can be found here.
- How can I change the information in my X.500
listing?
- Answer: First click here
to get to the directory. Then enter your own uniqname. When your
entiry appears click on the line that reads "View entire entry" at the
very top of the page. You will be asked to log in with your uniqname
and password. Once your full entry appears you can change any field by
clicking on the "Change..." field. For more information about changing
